Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on my Head
The Ladies’ once-a-year bus trip to Araluen Botanic Park might have been a bit of a disaster if the forecast had been right. Strong winds and heavy rain are not an ideal mix for a visit to an outdoor flower display but fortunately there were breaks between showers and those who bravely ventured into the gardens experienced the wondrous tulip display in full bloom. Amazing.
After the Botanic Garden, it was on to lunch at Avocados, which was “to die for”. All in all, what started out to be a doubtful day, turned into something wonderful.
The luncheon on 11th October features Holly Brindle, the livewire General Manager of Marketing for the Brindle Group, owners of the Good Grocer empire. Holly will give us her insight into their marketing strategy to remain successful and relevant in a retail environment dominated by the Coles/Woolworths duopoly.
