Volunteer Galley Coordinator
Our Sunday Off the Beach sailors are looking for a volunteer canteen coordinator commencing at the end of September in readiness for the sailing season in October.
As the canteen coordinator, you will be required to open the galley each Sunday morning and work with your volunteers to prepare and sell the canteen food and drinks on offer.
Perhaps you have had a similar role in your paid employment? Perhaps you are a social member and would like to get to know our sailing community? Or you might simply have the time and would like to be part of the amazing team of volunteers who make sailing possible for our sailors each weekend!
Volunteer Galley Staff
The club is seeking club members, parents, members of other fleets and sections to join is helping the OTB fleets stay prim, fed and ready for the seasons racing and regattas!
We pride ourselves on providing a vibrant community and the galley is one such step and facility to help us achieve that.
No experience necessary!
As a galley volunteer you will be required to put in 4.5 hours on Sunday morning from 9am during the sailing season (commencing October 2023). All the food and drink will be on-site and ready to go, along with step by step instructions on what to do. As many or as few hours that you can do will be so very appreciated, none more so than by the hungry sailors needing to fuel up before some fun on the water.
