Pirate Raids are fun social tradition, shared among WA Yacht Clubs for nearly 30 years, to promote inter-club camaraderie and provide an excuse for a fun DRESS UP party
A night for all, members, guests, family, and friends, young and old. Dressing as pirates is preferred, but optional.
There will a treasure hunt for the kids, Pirate Feast Table and BBQ, LIVE BAND, and prizes, all near the Centreboard flagpole.
Free soft drinks for kids and BYO alcohol.
SoPYC successfully raided Fremantle Sailing Club in 2018 to claim the Treasure Chest, currently kept safely behind glass in our main foyer. Word has been received, the motley crew from Cockburn Power Boat Club, intend to storm the beach near our Centreboard flagpole to attack our fortress and steal the treasure chest.
We need your help to defend the fort and treasure then host the raiders!

- Tickets: $25 Adults; $15 for children under 12.
- Help construct the fortress, set up the lawn seating area and treasure hunt, BBQ area, help with preparing cool drinks and ice for kids.
