Pens & Moorings Update

Shore Power Cables

You will have read in previous issues of “Coffee Pointers” that shore power cable have now expired their test & tag date of March. It is an annual requirement to have your shore power cable tested and tagged by the Club if you wish to connect to the Club’s power network. You can get this done at no extra cost by taking your cable into Coffee Point Marine where the Club’s approved electrician will perform the task. So far, we have had less than 100 cables tested of the more than 400 vessels who connect to the Club’s power network.

You only have till the 30th June to have this completed. Cables not tested tagged with the Club tag after this date will have their shore power cables disconnected.

So don’t forget to get it done so the ice cream doesn’t melt.

Marina Safety Compliance

We still have a large number of vessels who have not had their compliance (required every three years) done. It’s a painless exercise and you can now complete and submit your form easily through the members portal on the Club web site.

You will already have received your letter if you are overdue however it would pay to check you certificate anyway.
