Looking after our local communities has and always will be our top priority. We know there are customers who don’t have support and can’t access essential items, so we’ve launched IGA Priority Shop for those who are self-isolating and need it most.
Who is IGA Priority Shop designed for?
- Those with confirmed cases of COVID-19
- Those in mandatory isolation due to exposure to COVID-19
- The elderly (70+) who are isolating to minimise COVID-19 exposure
- Elderly Indigenous people (50+)
- Those with chronic illnesses (60+) who are isolating to minimise COVID-19 exposure
- Those with respiratory issues who are isolating to minimise COVID-19 exposure
- Those who are immuno-suppressed who are isolating to minimise COVID-19 exposure
- Those who are eligible for the NDIS who are isolating to minimise COVID-19 exposure
- Front line health care workers
What is in the packages?
We have created four pre-set packs that meet your basic needs. These packs include:
- The Essentials – milk, bread, butter, eggs, cereal, toilet paper, fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, soup.
- Pantry Plus – The Essentials Pack items plus tea bags, instant coffee, cheese, rice, pasta, pasta sauce, red meat, chicken and/or pork, chocolate block, sweet biscuits, frozen meal for one, long life juice, canned seafood, tissues, toothpaste, soap bar.
- Dog Pack – wet dog food, dry dog food.
- Cat Pack – wet cat food, dry cat food.
