Last Wednesday we had a good morning session with 28 participants, 6 carers and 35 volunteers enjoying sailing on the Swan River. The wind was light and shifting in almost every direction.
Sailability at SoPYC is pleased to introduce a new vessel for our fleet which was used for the first time last week. A Windrush yacht, trailer and outboard motor has been purchased out of Sailability funds as an addition to our club’s assets. This yacht is already bringing enjoyment to our participants and will be renamed in the near future.
Sailability at SoPYC is run by a group of dedicated club members and active volunteers every Wednesday morning giving disabled participants each week the joy and experience of sailing.
