The Open Skiff State Championships was held on the 9th and 10th of December at East Fremantle Yacht Club with over 20 boats hitting the water. The wind stayed in the east both days making for some tricky racing with wind shifts and large gusts. The racing was very close making it entertaining for spectators.
Many lessons were learned for some sailors but most importantly everyone had fun with several adventure races taking place.
Congratulations to our winners, Murray Duthie in the gold fleet and Teo Edwards for taking out the silver fleet. Well deserved!
