After a 3 week break, a gentle 10knots would be perfect to ease the finely tuned bodies into the second half of the season however, in the wise words of the Rolling Stones, “you can’t always get what you want” and the intrepid fleet found themselves punching into 20 knots much the same as before Christmas.

A couple of involuntary on water keel inspections and more than a few hairy moments under spinnaker kept the blood pumping. Style points went to John and Kevin (Final Fifteen) who managed to combine a windex washing and man overboard drill into the one manoeuvre.

Andy and Anne (A squared) got the nod on consistency for race 1 and John and Matt (Ffast Lane 4) for race 2. Jeff and Greg (Ffast Lane) were second in both while Nick and Brad (Reliance 4K) were fastest in both.
Rest up in preparation for next week.
