South of Perth Yacht Club offers free sailing experiences for Club members and non-members who wish to learn what makes a Keelboat go and how they can contribute as a regular member of a racing crew, without the technical detail of a certified course. The sailing time can be a quiet and easy activity, or offer you an adrenaline rush in one of the weekly action-packed races. The Club’s social facilities, restaurant and bar area is as much a part of the experience as getting out in the wind. The intention of a Discover Sailing Experience is to encourage participants to become active members on and off the water.
