The Club Championship races are coming thick and fast this season with the goal to get all heats done before the Worlds. Nick and Brad ( Best Foot Forward) were all business and got the gun on both occasions after building a solid lead from the 16 boat fleet. Mike and Paul ( Ineffable ) and Greg and Nick ( The Answer ) fought it for the minor places. Consistency honours went to Carl and Kristine (Faffin ) for the first race and Karen and Russell (Second Breakffast ) in the second.
Andrew and Anne (A2) were hard to miss with their new pink kite and were equally as obvious with it tucked over the bow checking for prawns at a leeward mark rounding.
Past Commodore John and Gordon ( Ffancy Classique ) tried a new tacking technique that briefly had the keel in danger of drying out and Byron missed a toe strap and made an unscheduled departure from Yes,No, Maybe that left him a bit more moist than he would prefer !
