Welcome to our Youth Keelboat Development Program at South of Perth Yacht Club.
Our Vision is to provide a structured pathway suited to youth sailors intending to progress towards high performance Keelboat racing.
- Youth sailors from 16 through to 25 years old, with racing knowledge and experience
- No Keelboat experience is required but the determination to learn and improve is important
- Those who want opportunities to progress their skills and compete in Keelboat regattas

The program provides the fundamental skills as well as the opportunity to progress to stage two of our Youth Keelboat Development Program.
In the second stage we will start to focus on specialising skills in suited roles as well as developing both fleet racing and match racing specific skills.
