Sailing Coach

Australian Sailing Course run at SoPYC
Course Overview
This course aims to build the capacity and capability of Sailing Clubs by training and developing individual Sailing Coaches that will be responsible for coaching the next era of sailors/athletes. Focussing on coaching fundamentals, that can be adapted to any specific class, the online component of the course is 6-hours, followed by the 2.5 day face-to-face course.

Australian Sailing Keelboat Instructor Course run at SoPYC
Course Overview
This course aims to teach instructors how to deliver the introductory courses of the Keelboat Program including Start Crewing and Start Helming. Participants will learn and practise effective techniques for theory and practical instructing with continuous feedback and support.
Racing Keelboat Instructor
Tuesday 30 Aug 2022: 1800 – 2100 (theory via Microsoft Teams, no venue requirement) 3-4 Sept 2022 Sat & Sun: 0800 – 1700
Australian Sailing Racing Keelboat Instructor Course run at SoPYC
Course Overview
This 12 hour course aims to teach Keelboat Instructors how to deliver the Spinnakers and Start Racing courses. Participants will learn and practise effective techniques for theory and practical instructing with continuous feedback and support.
