Learn to Sail: Tackers

Tackers is a fun, introductory sailing program for children aged 7-12 that teaches the basics of sailing through games and on-water activities, with all equipment provided and no prior experience necessary.



 

Optimist Green fleet

Optimist Green Fleet is the next step after Tackers, where sailors continue developing their sailing skills in plastic Optimist dinghies, with a focus on confidence, fun, and time on the water.
 

Optimist (Bronze/Silver/Gold)

Sailing in fiberglass Optimists, sailors progress through Bronze, Silver, and Gold Fleets, developing racing skills, boat speed, and tactics as they move towards higher-level competition.

Open Skiff (Bronze/Silver/Gold)

Sailing in Open Skiffs, sailors advance through Bronze, Silver, and Gold Fleets, building skills in speed, handling, and racing while enjoying the fun and excitement of high-performance sailing.
