Volunteers Needed
Your immediate help is required!
Sailability is a volunteer-based sailing program that offers opportunities for all people with disabilities, regardless of their level of abilities, skill or personal circumstances.
Sailing out of South of Perth Yacht Club takes place on Wednesday mornings, with five ‘Access’ dinghies, an Etchell, three Red Witches, a Windrush yacht and two RHIBs all accompanied by a safety boat. We always need volunteers to take on the roles of dingy/yacht skippers & crew, rigging helpers, crane operators, ‘Meet & Greet’ people, power boat skippers, observers and many more water and shore-based helpers.
Can you spare a few hours weekly or on an ad hoc basis for this very worthwhile initiative of the Rotary Club of Melville and South of Perth Yacht Club?
Sailing and boating skills are required for On-Water roles. On-Shore roles can be fulfilled by anyone with a smile! Be part of a team which promotes the joy of sailing as a recreation to people with disabilities.
