Keelboat Trophy Officer
This important role provides support to the Keelboat Treasurer, Archives and Sailing Committees and the OWG department with responsibilities including budget development, managing timelines for trophy-related activities, maintaining, cataloguing and preserving the history of our trophies.

Key Responsibilities:
- To support the Keelboat Treasurer in developing a trophy budget
- To develop a timeline for the activity and responsibility for awarding, purchasing, engraving and presenting trophies.
- To display, maintain, refurbish and repair trophies.
- To ensure perpetual trophies are not removed from the Club.
- To perform an annual stocktake of trophies.
- To annually update a photographic record of all club trophies both current and historical.
- To develop a system of cataloguing all trophies.
- To delegate the responsibility to implement the engraving of trophies to the OWG Department.
- Ensure the trophy winners' names and details are correct and available in a timely manner for engraving and presentation at Prize Night and other occassions during the season.
- Ensure Presentation Plaques request forms are published in Coffee Pointers in February.
- Engraving of "transient" interclub, state, national and international trophies is coordinated by the Trophy Officer and managed by the OWG. They are to be made ready for annual presentation at the appropriate venue by the Trophy Officer/OWG Department.
- To develop and make available to the Sailing Captain, a short 1-minute "history" of each trophy to read out when the trophy is presented. For example, the how, why and who the trophy was inaugurated.
