Reflecting on 2024: A Year of Growth and Engagement
In 2024, our key focus was on increasing participation by expanding our reach and introducing exciting new initiatives across several key areas:
Customer Base & Services
We aimed to create a more inclusive and engaging environment for:

• All Ages: From under-16 sailors to those aged 75 and beyond.
• All Interests: Supporting everyone from casual participants to highly competitive sailors.
• All Skill Levels: Offering tailored incentives for beginners, intermediates and advanced sailors.
• All Lifestyles: Providing flexible options for regular sailors, casual participants, FIFO workers, and retirees.

Summer Programs

• Mid-Week Opportunities:
  • NEW: Informal "Sneaky Sails" for casual participation.
  • NEW: Training & Development sessions for All ILCA sailors.
• Sunday Club Racing:
  • NEW: Updated course designs for an enhanced racing experience.
• Inter-Club Events:
  • NEW: Foster collaboration and competition with Club Trailer Hire.

Winter Programs
Keeping sailors active during the off-season with:

• Monthly Club Racing.
• Inter-Club events to maintain camaraderie and skills.

Training & Development

• NEW: Open to sailors of All ILCA rigs.
• Led by expert coaches, featuring:
  • Comprehensive on-water and off-water sessions.
  • Video reviews and discussions.
• Free for all Club members.

Accessibility
Encouraging new and returning sailors to embrace ILCA sailing:

• ILCA Boat Leasing: Try before you buy.
• NEW: Six refreshed Club ILCA boats are now available for short or long-term leases at affordable rates, with a choice of rigs (ILCA 4, 6 or 7).

Club Amenities
Our facilities are designed to enhance your experience:

• Boat Storage: Choose from undercover or hardstand options.
• Rigging Areas: Expansive grassed rigging areas with a sandy launching beach.
• Protected Launching Area: Ensuring safe and convenient boat handling.
• Clubhouse Features: Dedicated "off-the-beach" clubhouse with multimedia rooms, spacious change rooms, ample showers, and a welcoming alfresco seating area.
