South of Perth Yacht Club welcomes all sailors and ocean goers to a new course and race on the Ocean Calender. As part of the ORWA Bluewater and Siska Series for the 2024/25 season, this race takes the fleet on a rough figure of eight course, circumnavigating Rottnest, before venturing towards Rockingham, Centaur Reef, and finally back home to Fremantle.

It should provide a great test and finale to the season this year, keeping skippers, navigators and crews on their toes to navigate the multi mark passage course. It also provides a great opportunity for newer ocean faring teams to get involved, a course that stays relatively close to shore and services, whilst still upping the ante from most inshore events.
