Off The Beach 2026/27 Season
The new season is approaching, and we're excited to welcome sailors back for another fantastic summer of racing!
The club is proud to launch the 2026/27 Summer Series — a season packed with competition, camaraderie, and opportunities to challenge yourself on the water. As the winter chill fades away, it's time to shake off the cobwebs, reconnect with friends, and make the most of the warmer months ahead.
Our Summer Series features both Junior and Open racing across a range of classes, including: Optimist, O'pen Skiff, ILCA, Flying 15, Viper 640, 29er, Windsurfer LT. Sailors from all other club off-the-beach (OTB) classes are also encouraged to get involved. If your class isn't listed, get in touch and we'll help find the best racing option for you.
This page is your central hub for all Summer Series information, including notices, schedules, entries, results, and event updates. Be sure to explore the links below and stay up to date throughout the season.
Most importantly, enjoy your sailing, embrace the competition, and make the most of another incredible summer at the club with your mates.
We look forward to seeing you on the start line!

Safety Requirements
Self-check are needed to ascertain and confirm your vessel is in ship shape to be on the water. Equipment Audit forms provide this, and are required to be submitted July 1st, or before you participate on water, each year.
There many details to ensure dinghy’s are safe and up to snuff! All this information can be found in Australian Sailings Special Regulations.

The sport of sailing in Australia has a strong reputation for self-management of safety. The Special Regulations can also act as a guide for cruising boats. Special Regulations do not replace, but rather supplement the requirements of government authorities, the Racing Rules of Sailing and the rules of class associations and rating systems.
