Cruising Butterflies 2026

Cruising Butterflies Day is a SoPYC managed event run in conjunction with Rotary and KIIND, an agency of Perth Children's Hospital set up to support families with children facing significant health challenges.

The Cruising Butterflies event provides a family fun day for families raising children living with disability, development delay, autism, genetic, rare, undiagnosed and/or chronic conditions.

The event consists of a boat trip, a sausage sizzle, a free t-shirt and hat and photograph for the unwell children, together with fun activities such as face painting, balloon twisting and games.

Cruising Butterflies is predominantly operated through the donation of goods and services including by SoPYC. The committee strives to make the event as self-funding as possible.
