The 2026 Youth Keelboat State Championships will be held on 30 May at South of Perth Yacht Club, showcasing the next wave of WA sailing talent. Open to youth sailors under 25, the event delivers a full day of competitive, one‑design racing on the iconic Foundation 36s owned and operated by Swan River Sailing.
The Foundation 36 fleet provides an equal platform for all competitors, ensuring the racing comes down to pure skill, sharp decision‑making, and strong teamwork. These boats are known for producing close contests and rewarding crews who can stay composed under pressure.
The championship is proudly supported by Selden, whose sponsorship helps elevate the event and support youth sailing pathways, with cash prizes for 1st and 2nd place adding extra motivation for teams to push hard on the racecourse.
Registration closes on 23 May, and with limited spots available, early entry is strongly encouraged.
