Please be sure your vessels EPIRB is registered online. Last Tuesday 24th May, there was a EPIRB distress going off and the Club, Police and AMSA couldn't track it due lack of registration.
In case of an accident, it will be easier for the authorities to identify the vessel and people on board are safe if you have done your registration.
It's easy and you can do it online. Please find more information here:

Photographs of Jetty 1 Installation
We would like to call out to members to assist in addressing how the concrete decks on jetty 1 were installed in 1998. There are two schools of thought. One is that a barge with a crane was used. The second is that the decks were installed from the land by a franna crane lowering the decks down on to the piles. If any members have any photos that they may have taken during the construction of jetty 1, please would they contact General Manager, David Harries: 9364 5844 or general.manager@sopyc.com.au so we can see the photos. We imagine that the Archive Committee would love to have a copy too for the Club history. Many thanks.

Shore power cables have now expired their test & tag date of March. It is an annual requirement to have your shore power cable tested and tagged by the Club if you wish to connect to the Club’s power network. Take your cable into Coffee Point Marine where the Club’s approved electrician will perform the task at no cost to you.
