Sunday will be one of the Club’s busy days and demand for parking bays will be high with keelboat sailors, Off The Beach sailors and power boat owners all participating in activities. The main car parking areas are set aside for voting members. We have arranged access to the Goolugatup Heathcote lower land (access via the gravel car park adjacent to the roundabout) for non voting members and guests, crew members and overflow car parking.
If you are planning to be away over the weekend, please park your car in the southern car park. We appreciate your assistance with the parking demand by parking in areas that are not set aside for guests.

The Randell Raft up and Rally The Sunday began with a bang or two as the spring squalls moved through the river in the morning and it was clear that the brave hearts were thinking very hard. Closing Day & AFL Grand Final Celebrations + Randell volunteer thank you
A bright sunny morning greeted the fleet for the 10am start gun. A radio call alerted the skippers to Bernie handing over a quiz to be completed on course. An advantage for boats with visitors onboard, multi tasking to the max for navigators onboard alone to pick up clues passed on the previous leg. Congratulations Tina and Brian Smith on Indiana for equal top marks with team Purrfect and guests. Back to the actual event: Congratulations with a score of 4 to Team Thanet to win least points for the last non-consistency event.

AFL Final & Wilson Marine Sweepstakes.
Members started to select top viewing positions in front of the big screens to catch the history making AFL grand final played in Perth. Unusual that no WA teams made the final, however support for the 2 Victorian based teams was solid. Power Section Sponsor, Chris Pearson from Wilson Marine, assisted by his wife Toby had the sweepstakes categories for $5 a bets, winner wins the kitty stakes. Congratulations Stottie for half time margin guess and Vanessa for first goal kicker win.
With the game one sided, members and guests mingled and chatted then headed out to the jetties to kick on afterwards.
Thank you to the fantastic volunteers from Power Section who helped to ensure yesterday’s breakfast for Randell Rally attendees was such a great success. Compliments about the Club hospitality from visitors is still coming in example
