Flying Fifteen Update
Three races in a variable easterly around a triangular course was a great warm-up for next weekend’s regatta. Curtin University Student - Request of our Members
My name is Lucy-Rua Kelsch, and I am one of five students working on a group presentation. We are currently studying at Curtin University, in our first year studying Occupational therapy. We have a group assignment where we have to go out into our community to interview a few people participating in the occupation of water-based activities. We were inquiring to see if we would be able to visit your sailing club, to conduct our interview. For our assignment, we are required to interview two individuals for approximately 20 to 30 minutes, at a time of their convenience, who are your club members and also enjoy participating in the occupation of Sailing on a regular basis. The interview would consist of around 30 to 40 questions about the individual's experiences with sailing. We would like the opportunity to watch the individuals also participate in some sailing, in hope that we are also able to incorporate some photographs and video's of them sailing from first-hand experience, into our presentation. We are required to have a signed consent form from the individuals who are willing to participate in our photographs and videos, which we will supply. If it is also made possible, would one of our group members be able to participate in the sailing with one of your experienced individuals? If this is agreeable to your sailing club, would you please be able to supply us with some suitable dates and times that we are able to conduct our interview.
If there are any further questions, please contact me by email on Lucy.Kelsch@gmail.com or by mobile number: 0499 046 177. Lucy-Rua Kelsch
