1145 - All sailors and guests assemble in the Ballroom for the Official Ceremony
|
1200 - VIP’s to the Yachtsman Bar
|
1220 - Ceremony commences
|
- Official party piped into the Ballroom
- Introduction of officials to Elder Marie Taylor by Commodore John Midolo
- “Welcome to Country” by Elder Marie Taylor
- Welcome Speech from Commodore John Midolo
- Presentation of Flag Officers’ Burgees
- Opening Speech by Elder Marie Taylor
1250 - Gun is fired for the start of the 74th Sailing Season

- All sail past participants to disperse for Sail Past
1250 - Official guests board VIP vessels at the Main Jetty and Jetty 3 to view Sail Past
|
|
1310 - Sail Past commences – Power Boats, Keel Boats and Centreboards (OTB)
|

1420 - Warning signal for Keelboats (Box start)
|
1425 - Warning signal for Off The Beach (Mid River start)
|
|
1600 - Afternoon tea in the Wardroom for VIP’s with Commodore John Midolo and Mrs Rose Midolo.

To avoid any disruptions to the Club this Sunday. Please note* no work may be carried out on vessels on the hardstand yard between 1100hrs and 1400hrs.
|
|
The day is busy with many guests from kindred clubs invited to join us for the Summer Season Opening Day and to accommodate our guests we allocate bays in the eastern jetty 4 car park on Sunday. We would appreciate members not leaving their cars in this car parking area overnight on Saturday 5th October.
