Troy and Dee Clean Up. Royal Perth Yacht Club hosted a fabulous Presentation evening for the Cruising and Power Yacht Committee last Friday. Black chair covers closed with scarlet ribbon, treasure chests on every table and a sumptuous three-course meal made it an unforgettable evening. At about the same time as Kyrgios was screaming at a tennis umpire “You’re delusional”, …

Member and Non-Member
Food & Beverage Pricing
|
At the AGM on 5th September, Members were asked to provide an indication of their views about the introduction of a Members and Non Members food and beverage pricing scheme. The feedback was overwhelmingly in favour of the proposal to introduce Member and Non Member pricing. The proposition was discussed by the Finance Committee and the committee is in favour of the scheme too. The Treasurer will be recommending the adoption of the scheme to the Management Committee who meet on 25th September. While the process of adopting the proposal is being worked through, an outline is presented below for Members’ information as the intent is to have the scheme in place in the next few weeks.
|
The proposal being considered is:
|
- Beverage and dining prices will be increased by 10% by the end of October. This may be earlier subject to the computer system programming requirements which are being checked with the programmers.
- Function pricing is excluded from the proposal
- Members will automatically have a 10% discount applied to their purchases when they use their fob key at the point of sale.
- Members without their fob keys must present their Membership Card at the time of the transaction to receive the 10% discount.
- The discount will not be applicable without either the fob or your membership card (which should be carried by Members at all times)
- Any person unable to demonstrate they are bona fide members of the Club will be obliged to pay what will become the standard or Non Member prices for any purchases they make at the Club.
