It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of past Club Member Sydney Douglas Corser.
|
Sydney passed away peacefully on Saturday 6th April 2019, aged 88 years. As well as being a past member of SoPYC, Sydney was a Life Member of Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club.
|
He joined RFBYC in 1962 and was hugely influential during his years at the Club, introducing new classes and inspiring many new generations of sailors. A very special man who enriched the lives of all who knew him. He will be sadly missed by all.
