Meet Brian and Annie Rapson onboard their new investment in fun, ‘Kiboko’ recently arrived at SoPYC direct from the Beneteau factory in France. They both have had completed a trans-Atlantic voyage on a previous adventure and now look forward to joining in next season’s Twilight Series and squeezing in some cruises offshore.
State E-Championship
Last Saturday morning the best of WA’s cyber sailors met for the first time in a 5-race knockout. It was a very tight bunch all the way, with SoPYC’s Champion James Keating nipping at the leader’s heals all round the course, however it was RFBYC’s day with Opti sailor Pol Rafart taking out the series and proceeding to the National Championship this Thursday from 1900 AEST.

I’m excited to welcome Steve McConaghy on this week’s edition of Dockside with Deb.
Steve is a professional sailor and tactician from Sydney. A 3 times World 11m Champion, Steve also represented Australia at the 1996 Summer Olympics. He has run many yachting programs in Australia and overseas, including extensive experience in Asia.
We’ll chat to Steve about his sailing career, some highlight experiences and get some tips on how to run onboard tactics.
