The weather was looking ominous; however, the 32 boats were keen to compete in the TiTu, having been sidelined for past few weeks.  As well as an invitational event for our Kindred Clubs to join in, the TiTu serves as State Heat 5 for the CPYA State Heat Series.
A change from normal, the start line was just the inner start buoy and passing the outer or finish buoy scored for the finish. The remainder of the course was very familiar to our fleet taking the fleet down the river to Attadale and back upstream to Quarry with 11 checked marks.
Winner of the Ti Tu trophy and least points of 5, was Dalusional RC Troy Dalglish and Victoria Blanckensee continuing Daliusional’s winning streak of 6 least points lost flags in a row.  Making an occasional appearance, team Lone Star, Garry Morrison and Amanda Watson were in form runners up with 7 points, giving them a first place on Handicap.  Royal Freshwater Bay boat Havana were 3rd outright with 9 points.
Other handicap place getters were Board Room Steve and Diane Clarke 2nd place and Indiana, Brian and Tina Smith collecting the 3rd flag. Both teams lost 10 points meaning being only separated by 1 point handicap.
Thank you to the trophy donor Kim Marchant, son of long-time club member Frank Marchant, owner of the historic steamship TiTu. Photos and presentations were a little less formal, as guests dressed ready for the Bogan Band night after party.
