It was a sparkling afternoon on the water for the classic wooden boats and H28 Chairman Glen Stanley once again scooped the pool in Division two and took off the handicap win. Vice Commodore Michael Cook was on board Judith Magee’s Alma with a selection of the clubs finest sailors and acquitted himself well. We also had Jim Spittle and Napea of Carrick and John Wright and Anna on the water with John Connell sailing Intrinsic and Ralph Newton taking a horde on board Eun Na Mara for a leisurely roll around the river.
The Vice Commodore then took the floor as the MC for results and the Retro people enjoyed the view and hospitality from the Beachside Marquee so generously provided by the club.
