Radio Controlled Sailing at SoPYC – Every Friday 3:00pm – 5:30pm

Each Friday from 3pm to 5.30pm the club is conducting races for DragonFlite95 (DF95) radio controlled yachts.

You are invited to come and participate in the fun of racing these restricted one-design yachts. There are currently 23 DF95s belonging to members of SoPYC and they will be happy to hand over the controls to you to ‘have a go’. A DF95 comes in kit form and is complete for under $500. The yacht requires no crew, no pen fees, is easily transported, not expensive to maintain, uses the same ISAF yacht racing rules, and is a great competitive yacht.
