Cliff Hanger for the Championship Trophy

The CPYC State Heat Series concluded last Saturday with 39 competitors on the course which started on the Claremont bank, took in a huge loop of the river to finish at Point Resolution.  The provisional results, subject to protest, saw RFBYC competitor Stramash, who had won the previous 2 heats, tie for Least Points with Troy Dalglish and Victoria Blanckensee on Dalusional, also with 8 points, awarded 2nd place on countback. PC Guy Skinner and Richard Evans on Thanet were placed 3rd with 9 points. Unfortunately, in-form Tracy Leveridge-Smith and Anthony Smith on Brazen were unlucky to be pinged for a Change of Speed – 10 point penalty – to bump their score of 5 points out to 15 points leaving them down the results table.
