With the summer season coming as a bit of a shock to some, Sunday was the perfect remedy for those that would prefer to ease into the program with a light (ish) westerly and a fleet more than twice the size of last week. A bit more crowded at the front end of the fleet with Team Dunbar quickly finding their feet and Nick and Brad currently sailing a borrowed boat with a borrowed sail number as well!
Showing the fruits of a solid maintenance effort over winter, Tim and Plonky threaded several metres of new ropes around Ffollow Us and then discovered they needed to re-thread most of them when out on the water.
A lively game of sail number bingo during results saw the right pennant get to the right people eventually but there will be a slight delay in getting the full results on the website.
More consistency racing next week and 2 weeks until the first of the Club Championships.
