With restrictions the previous week, both the Linfox Trophy and the Frank Dal Autos Trophy results and presentations meant lots of laughs and fun in the bar on Saturday night. Justin Taylor, representing Linfox visiting from Melbourne, took control of the throttle onboard Anton Jennings’  Thomascraft 45 “Magnifique 2” for the Frank Dal. Picking up a third place despite a change of speed 3 point penalty.

For the first of the bell rings, Trophy Sponsor and Start Team member, PC Frank Dalglish was awarded the bent prop for missing the firing of first gun signal. Flags were presented to last weeks winners and the Linfox Trophy was presented to  Magnifique 2 Skipper Anton Jennings with son Sebastian, navigator. Thanet  with skipper PC Guy Skinner and navigator Ann McClusky doing an admirable job filling in for regular navigator, Richard Evans, won the Frank Dal Autos Trophy and first place in Starboard fleet. Least points of 6 was shared by Dalusional and Amazon.

The next 2 weeks are State Heat events requiring separate nominations. This week nominations are on RFBYC site. Note NO post event gathering.
Our TiTu invitation TimeTrial and Winter Wonderland event is the following Saturday 24th. This is a ‘all of club’ free event. Friends and family are welcome. Please register your attendance at and spread the word. It will be a fun night.
