SoPYC are participating in the City of Melville’s 50th-year celebration and their ‘Confluence’ Art In Place event. We need as many boats as possible (both power and sail) to be moored both on our Canning Beach Road moorings and also anchored directly in front of the club lawn area adjacent to the fuelling jetty on the nights of Thursday 21st to Sunday 24th June.

We want to have the boats moored and/or anchored by 6pm and remain in position until 9pm.

The light projectors will shine a fabulous array of aboriginal-themed lights onto your boats. Digital photos of the display, and of your boat, will be available at no cost.

This is a great opportunity to invite your crew and friends and family onto your boat in safe waters for a great event!

Please contact Rear Commodore Regatta, Ralph Newton at to register your interest.
