The Ti Tu Trophy was first awarded in 1975. One of the oldest Club trophies,Ti Tu is named after the historic steam launch, owned by trophy donor and club stalwart, Frank Marchant, presented each year by a member of his family. Frank’s grandson, Leycester Cody, as the continuing tradition, presented a framed architectural drawing of the TiTu along with the trophy, a replica of the vessel.

Steve Wall, skipper of Amazon, now has his name engraved on the trophy a record 8 times, surpassing the legendary Bryan Carter’s seven TiTu wins. With the season mid way through, winning the TiTu with Least Points, is a battle between the most competitive teams. Steve’s father Jim Wall, also a past champion, won the TiTu hat trick in 1984,’85 &‘86.

It was soon after Jims death, Steve started his time trialling campaign on Amazon in 2000, taking out his first TiTu trophy in 2002. Steve’s partner Sharon Horne, navigated for the first two wins, with Amanda Watson on time keeping, navigating for the other 5 wins including Saturday with 6 pts lost, from Dalusional second by just one point on 7 pts and Purrfect third with 10 points lost.
