31 March 2020

Dear reader,
In our new reality of rapidly changing pronouncements from the Prime Minister and the Premier we are being bombarded by thousands of words everyday. To provide some relief from the tsunami of information crashing in on us we are offering suggestions of lighthearted things to do while sitting around at home.

We wish all members good health and encourage everyone suffering from a sense of disbelieve about what is confronting Club and the Community to practice the recommended preventative hygiene measures to minimise the impact of the virus on our families and people around us.

For current comprehensive advice and information we are providing the link below from the Australian Government advisory services. The site is updated daily.

Please be informed that all Club sailing activities have been cancelled until further notice. This extends to the regular DF95 competition. This was not an easy decision to make, but one made in the best interests of all Members, volunteers, staff and visitors.

We wish to thank everyone for a fantastic summer season and hope to see everyone again as soon as the current health situation improves.

The Main Clubhouse and Centerboard Clubhouses' are closed until further notice, the grounds and car park are still accessible with your member's key.

Slipping and hardstand activities will continue. Please call 0412 528 270 to book. Please complete a Lifting Data Sheet prior to speaking to the bosuns.

The ice box and the fuel bowser are still in operation.

There will be 24 hour access to the bathrooms and showers via the eastern entrance near Jetty 4 car-park.

Thank you to the Grand Sponsor of the Week
